Position Summary
Crow Holdings seeks an experienced Payroll & HRIS Administrator to manage the enterprise-wide payroll process and assist with system configuration, data management and reporting within UKG. This role includes maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance with all payroll and tax regulations, and providing support for the Human Resources team through efficient operation and optimal leverage of UKG capabilities. The successful candidate will bring at least three years of experience administering payroll within an HRIS system, and familiarity with general system management.
Primary Responsibilities
- Utilize UKG to process company-wide biweekly payroll; ensure accurate processing of payroll updates, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, terminations, and other deductions
- Manage employee records, including time, attendance and other payroll-related information
- Maintain company compliance with federal, state and local payroll and tax regulations
- Prepare and submit payroll funding reports to various business units and entities
- Create recurring and ad-hoc reports as needed; collect and analyze data to better understand company trends, opportunities for improvement, and influence HR strategy
- Serve as the go-to subject matter expert for UKG, providing user training and hands-on support along with training materials
- Address employee questions or concerns regarding payroll or other HRIS-related issues
- Customize UKG to meet specific enterprise needs and implement process improvements as needed
- Support Human Resources team as needed with various projects, including benefits and leaves of absence
- Provide supporting documentation for internal and external audits
- Remain up-to-date with payroll guidelines and procedures; offer recommendations for increased efficiency and accuracy
