We are seeking a GIS System Analyst with a strong background in ArcGIS and Tableau administration to join our team in supporting data-driven decision-making and secure data environments. This role will serve as the administrator of an ArcGIS SaaS instance, supporting a wide array of users while ensuring data privacy and permission management across various user groups.
The ideal candidate will understand complex business objectives, perform cost/benefit analyses, and translate user needs into technical requirements. Your experience in data manipulation, GIS visualizations, and user management will help streamline operations and improve analytical capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain ArcGIS SaaS platform, supporting multiple users
- Set up and manage user permissions and access controls
- Develop and support Tableau dashboards and data visualizations
- Identify alternative system solutions and perform cost/benefit analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders to document technical and functional requirements
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to ArcGIS Online or On-Prem
Qualifications
- 8 years of ArcGIS Administration or development (experience in both preferred)
- 5 years of data management and database concepts
- 5 years of experience with data manipulation and cleaning techniques
- 4 years of user administration and permission handling
- 3 years of hands-on ArcGIS Online or On-premise admin experience
- 2 years of experience developing GIS visualizations and analytics
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
