Job Description:

Location: Flexible (can be remote)

As a Staff member in our Global Delivery Team group, you will apply principles of accounting in review and analysis of financial information while assisting field auditors. This opportunity is a temporary to perm/full- time opportunity following a ninety-day time period.

This is what part of your work entails:

• Preparing work papers and schedules for audit engagements, performing financial analyses, performing address verifications, and processing confirmations.
• Collecting and inputting/downloading data from clients, reviewing and comparing financial analysis for accuracy to client records, maintaining due dates for tasks, preparing other correspondence and/or back-end processing (i.e., copying, filing, follow-up correspondence and basic quality assurance).
• Communicating and collaborating with team members regarding information requests and tasks.
• Performing calculations and comparing subsidiary schedules to detail account reconciliations.
• Identifying, documenting and communicating to the assurance team errors, trends and unusual transactions or accounting relationships.

Qualifications

• This position requires a minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED). If you already have an associate's or bachelor's degree, that is even better.
• If the highest-level education is a high school degree, then a minimum of five (5) years of experience in accounting work or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Experience in bookkeeping required.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel).
• Multi-task and handle multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Your skills should include organization, social, analytical, and basic accounting so that you can work effectively with our field auditors. This will help you build and manage positive relationships.
