Job Title: Help Desk Analyst
Job Summary:
Join our advanced, technological team at Crown Awards Worldwide Headquarters located in Hawthorne, NY. With 150 franchise stores and the largest e-commerce manufacturer of awards, we offer a fantastic opportunity to join our growing team! The Help Desk Analyst is a key member of the IT department. This person is responsible for all areas relating to technology in support of all departments.
Job Responsibilities:
· Technical Support: Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and basic network issues via phone, email, and in-person.
· Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
· User Assistance: Assist users with software applications, including installation, configuration, and usage guidance.
· Documentation: Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system; document procedures and FAQs for future reference.
· Collaboration: Work closely with other IT staff to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution of user problems.
· Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by being responsive, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
Qualifications:
· Associate’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , ITIL) are a plus.
· 1-3 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role.
· Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems; familiarity with networking concepts; experience with common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
· Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
· Strong communication skills
· Team-oriented; willingness to pitch in and help out
· Self-motivated; takes initiative
· Good judgement: ability to prioritize and work independently
