JOB TITLE : Lithium Process Technician DEPARTMENT : IND Sales
JOB SUMMARY : The Lithium Process Technician is responsible for working with the Crown Technology Center (CTC)
Site Manager to develop / improve the lithium assembly process. This position will also commission lithium products prior to shipments.
JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for inspecting all incoming shipments.
- Maintain batteries that are in stock.
- Assemble the Velocity product from stock.
- Commission Velocity product sold not from stock.
- Responsible for basic troubleshooting of any product issues.
- Be available by phone or in person to troubleshoot and repair batteries.
- Perform quality checks for all shipments.
- Palletize and secure all products prior to shipment.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work environment on a daily basis.
- Be familiar with and compliant with the systems, procedures, and documentation of the Crown Quality System and how it relates to Sales and Crown quality objectives.
ACCOUNTABILITY : This position reports to the CTC Site Manager.
COMPETENCIES :
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRMENTS :
WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS : The position operators in an industrial warehouse environment. This role routinely uses industrial equipment and tools and works near moving mechanical parts. The physical demands of this position are representative of those that must be met be an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the job the employee is required to stand / walk for 8 hours at a time. Use of both hands, to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or tooling; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must be able to lift or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vison, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. This is a full-time, day shift position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, at a minimum of 8-hour shifts. Must be able to work all mandatory overtime as required; this could lead to working weekday and weekend overtime.
TRAVEL : This position may require some travel to customer locations. May by required to stay overnight.
