The most important duty a bridal consultant has at Crown Bridal is building relationships by sharing their knowledge of wedding styles, options, silhouettes, and colors available with potential customers. Recommending Bridal gowns, Mother attire and Menswear based on each customer’s body type and personal preference. Style bridal looks with complementary accessories, jewelry, headpieces, and veils. We provide IN DEPTH on the job training.
Responsibilities

  • Strive to meet and surpass the needs of every potential customer
  • Build profitable contacts and long-term relationships.
  • Process payments and sales transactions within store settings.
  • Take measurements and arrange dress alterations and fittings when applicable.
  • Schedule /reschedule appointments
  • Answer incoming calls and questions and provide a comforting experience.
  • Take measurements
  • Place special orders
  • Make follow up calls, process counter transactions and payments.
  • Keep cleanliness of store pristine at all times.
  • Create a stress-free and fulfilling shopping experience.
  • Warmly greet customers as soon as they arrive and provide detailed pricing and availability information on gowns, suits and accessories.
  • Assist customers with everyday concerns.
  • Participate in setup and engagement at Bridal Exhibitions
  • Prepare, display and protect merchandise from excessive wear or damage
  • Conduct inventory and price adjustments
  • Participate in Trunk Show promotions and preparations
  • Participate in seasonal trainings
  • Strives to meet sales and commission goals

Requirements

  • Work experience as a Bridal Stylist, Wedding Dress Consultant or similar role in high end fashion/retail *(Preferred / Not Required)
  • Experience in retail, preferably in a luxury boutique *(Preferred / Not Required)
  • Knowledge of wedding trends and our designers is a plus
  • Hands-on experience creating complete wedding looks, including gown, suits, and accessories *(Preferred / Not Required)
  • Excellent communication skills (Required)
  • Ability to create an enjoyable and fulfilling shopping experience
  • Additional certification in social media platforms, Fashion or Wedding industry is a plus (Priority Preference)
  • Pass a background check
  • Pass and agree to random drug testing if requested
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with vendors and sales associates and maintain product knowledge for all bridal events and shows.
  • Knowledge of social media applications and integrations
  • Knowledge of Bridal live software *(Preferred / Not Required)

Goal

Provide efficient product demonstrations to attract more clients and ensure achievement of all sales objectives.

Provide optimal level of customer services and provide assistance to all customers and staff

Identify all potential customers and maximize profit while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Build long lasting relationships with customers and staff

Incentives

We provide on the job training in all aspects of business within these positions

We also provide a generous gratuity program in ADDITION to an hourly wage based on performance . Our consultants average $25-$35 per hour after their applied incentives!

Mandatory days/hours for position are currently flexible for weekdays and rotating fixed mandatory Saturday and Sunday. We are open 7 days a week.
We provide 1 week of non-paid holiday vacation the week of Thanksgiving and 2 weeks at Christmas for our employees *(all YTD accrued PTO is paid for Christmas closure) We are closed annually for New Year’s Eve/Day, Independence Day and Easter so that our employees may enjoy time with their friends and family! Our employees also enjoy their birthday off!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.28 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
