The Project Manager will oversee the successful execution of custom cabinetry projects from start to finish. This role requires effective communication and coordination with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination:
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of custom cabinetry projects, including design reviews, scheduling, and subcontractor management.
- Measure job sites and gather necessary information to ensure accurate project specifications.
- Work closely with the sales-design team and project coordinator to meet project timelines, scope, and budgets.
Design & Approval Process:
- Review and edit KCD drawings, ensuring that final designs meet client specifications and design goals.
- Provide guidance and feedback to ensure feasibility and alignment with project goals.
Schedule & Resource Management:
- Schedule and manage subcontractors and installers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project timelines, ensuring all milestones are met and that projects stay on track.
- Handle adjustments to schedules or timelines as needed while keeping clients and team members informed.
Quality Control & Site Management:
- Ensure all aspects of the cabinetry and installation meet high-quality standards.
- Conduct site visits regularly to ensure the project progresses as planned, addressing any issues promptly.
- Maintain close communication with installers and contractors to guarantee consistency and accuracy.
Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, sales, contractors, and internal teams.
- Provide updates to clients on project status, resolve any concerns, and ensure satisfaction throughout the process.
- Collaborate with the project coordinator to address any issues, ensuring successful completion.
Problem Solving & Troubleshooting:
- Manage and resolve any issues during the project lifecycle, including design, construction, or installation challenges.
- Maintain a strong ability to work under pressure and keep the project on track, even when unforeseen complications arise.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in construction, remodeling, or custom cabinetry project management.
- Knowledge of high-end cabinetry design, manufacturing, and installation processes is highly preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Detail-oriented and accurate with a strong focus on quality control.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in KCD software or similar design tools is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address challenges proactively.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to visit job sites and manage on-site project needs.
- Lifting and assisting with installs when needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
