Role
The Change Control Technician's overall duty is to coordinate maintenance activities (both internal and external) on the Crown Castle Fiber network with a goal of maintaining a high level of availability and service to its customers and be the subject matter expert for all Change Control Technicians.
Responsibilities
- Answer Change Control Hotline to check people in and out of the network
- Maintenance Coordination- Internal and Vendor Maintenance Management
- Impact Analysis- Circuit Impact Research, Assessment, and Validation
- Collision Detection/Event Management
- Internal and External Maintenance Conflict Resolution
- Internal, Vendor and Customer Scheduling & Coordination
- Research customer information so that all affected customers are properly notified.
- Proactive Customer Communication & Notifications
- Various Projects including logging into equipment and circuit protection validation when needed.
- Display good customer service techniques (Customer advocate/liaison)
- Serves as a contact for Change Management inquiries
- On-Call Rotation
Education/Certifications
- High School degree or equivalent
Experience/Minimum Requirements
- Solid experience with standard MS Office Product Set
• NMS alarm monitoring
• Working Knowledge within a Circuit Inventory System- IE. OSP Insight and Netcracker - NOC, Ops or Call Center experience
- 2-4 years related Service Provider experience
Organizational Relationship
Reports to: Change Control Supervisor

Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in your assigned office approximately 60% of the time (3 days per week) and where you do your best work 40% (2 days per week). There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.
