HOURS WORKED: Part-time, 15-20 hours per week, 10 months: August - May
DEFINITION: Coordinate Chapel and worship teams with a passionate heart for genuine worship.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Campus Pastor & Director of Spiritual Formation
SUPERVISORY FUNCTIONS: Student leaders
EQUIPMENT/JOB LOCATION:
Works from an office at Crown College. The equipment used includes but is not limited to, personal computer and required programs, printer, fax machine, calculator, copy machines, and other equipment as the position requires.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Coordinate Chapel and Worship Teams
- Lead, participate, and/or attend all daytime (Wednesdays, Fridays, occasional Mondays) and Sunday evening chapels
- Plan worship experiences that are Spirit-led while also being thoughtfully structured.
- Recruit, hire, supervise, and develop student worship teams and production crew members by providing regular coaching and feedback.
- Plan and coordinate worship elements, styles, and formats in alignment with speakers’ themes and reflecting the backgrounds/cultures of the campus community
- Coordinate the Chapel schedule by working with the Campus Pastor to recruit participants, organize service details, and communicate responsibilities while ensuring professional excellence in Chapel worship services
- Organize and oversee worship auditions, collaborating with key stakeholders (Artist in Residence, Worship Ministry Professor, and Admissions) to award scholarships.
- Support and accompany student worship teams during travel engagements.
- Stay up to date with the latest worship planning software, methods, and audio/visual production techniques to ensure high-quality chapel services
- Lead improvements in audio, visual, and video production
- Maintain worship equipment and practice spaces, and recommend or purchase items as necessary
- Meet with Artist-in-Residence & Worship Ministry Professor bi-weekly to prepare for chapel services.
- Other duties as requested by supervisor.

- Proficiency in leading worship vocally and/or instrumentally, with the ability to guide others into an authentic worship experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in worship, ministry, or related field
- 1-3 years experience leading worship in a professional setting
- Consistently exhibits a lifestyle of worship beyond formal settings, reflecting a heart fully surrendered to God.
