Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Preventative Maintenance and Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair. You will work closely with our shift supervisors to ensure the smooth operation of our production line.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor key performance indicators affecting quality and production, prioritize maintenance tasks, and inspect equipment for any issues.
- Participate in production meetings, assist coordinators with converting teams, and suggest corrective actions to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with mechanics to resolve production/equipment issues, walk the production line to identify potential maintenance items, and implement preventive maintenance measures.
Requirements
- A high school graduate or equivalent with experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Strong working experience in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting skills, and equipment re-build expertise are essential.
- Experience in using controls and settings on high-speed automated equipment, high competency in the use of micrometers, calipers, and related equipment, strong math and computer skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to travel domestically for training.
