**Job Title:** Electrician (Master or Journeyman)**
Crown Cork & Seal is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our production team on the plant floor. As an active member of the team, you will support daily production activities at our three-piece can manufacturing operation. This hands-on position requires troubleshooting issues with existing equipment and interacting with various aspects of the manufacturing process.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a starting wage of $38.95 - 44.23/hour, depending on qualifications, plus shift differential. Our comprehensive benefits include free company-paid health insurance for all employees.
**Key Responsibilities:*
- Maintain and troubleshoot all electrical systems, computers, building, and machinery, including 480V 3 phase power and control systems.
- Assist in new installation and upgrades of plant equipment.
- Conduct process checks as required.
- Work with outside contractors to maintain the fire alarm system in proper working order.
- Maintain cleanliness of electrical shop and job sites, while practicing appropriate safety procedures.
- Properly complete all administrative tasks, including log books, data entry, jumper log, and record keeping.
**Requirements:**
- Licensure from the State of Minnesota
- 3 years in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems
- Must be able to read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints, electrical schematics, and parts specifications
