We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our team. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in their homes. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need of assistance with daily living activities.
Responsibilities :
Provide home community care services to individuals in need
Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality at all times
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and toileting
Support individuals with developmental disabilities in a compassionate and respectful manner
Perform light housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment
Prepare nutritious meals for clients based on dietary restrictions and preferences
Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting and positioning individuals as needed
Provide patient care services, such as monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes to the supervising nurse
Maintain accurate medical documentation of care provided
Requirements :
Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred
Ability to lift and move objects or individuals as required
Knowledge of working with people with developmental disabilities is a plus
Familiarity with meal preparation and nutrition guidelines
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide compassionate care
Proficiency in medical documentation and record-keeping
Understanding of cleanliness standards and infection control practices
