Crown Nissan is hiring an Automotive Service Porter for its busy service department!   This can be MORE than 'just a job', it can be a milestone in your career path!Our Porter positions provide the entry-level opportunity to begin and eventually progress in your automotive career with Crown Automotive Group.  As the first point of contact for service customers you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while directing the flow of traffic on our dealership’s service drive. You will also be providing general service department assistance throughout the normal course of business while ensuring the maintenance and cleanliness of our dealership's service area.  This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a compensation of $14 per hour, paid weekly. Crown Automotive Group has been awarded Tampa Bay Top Workplace by our employees for four years in a row! Responsibilities :

  • Greet and welcome customers as they arrive in the service department, providing them with excellent customer service and directing them to the appropriate personnel
  • Maintain a clean and organized service area, including removing garbage, sweeping, and mopping as needed
  • Park and retrieve vehicles for customers and service technicians
  • Assist service advisors with various tasks such as running errands, retrieving parts, and updating service records
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks on vehicles, such as checking and filling fluids and replacing windshield wipers
  • Keep track of loaner vehicles, fuel levels, and maintenance schedules
  • Adhere to all safety and company policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned by the service manager or supervisor

    • Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to operate manual and automatic vehicles
  • Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repairs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
  • Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings and weekends if needed
