TITLE: Production Supervisor
DESCRIPTION:
- Conduct annual reviews for staff performance
- Support compliance supervisor with safety meetings and professional standards such as occupational health and safety
- Ensure department and work areas are consistently clean and organized
- Monitor and prioritize workflow of production to meet all lead-time goals
- Organize, monitor, and prioritize tasks to meet production goals
- Evaluate various stations of the production operation to ensure optimum efficiency
- Review production and operating reports and direct the resolution of operational, quality, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays
- Perform administrative activities associated with the effective management of plant operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reports
- Ensure all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met
- Participate in special products and perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager
- Maintain communication between employees and senior management to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood
- Demonstrate respect by equipping their employees to do their jobs, letting them know exactly what they expect from them and giving them frequent feedback.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate’s degree in business or 2 years of past relevant experience
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Sharp production focus with a drive for accurate results
- Excellent customer interfacing ability
- Must have a successful performance record in current position
- Must be able to work flexible schedule as required including weekends
- Able to sit, walk, and move around for long hours at a time
- Internal employees have had no recurring performance, and attendance disciplinary actions in the past 12 months
- Internal employees cannot be under a performance improvement plan at time of application
