Road Service Technician :
We are looking for a professional road service technician to travel to customers sites to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, providing on-site technical support by diagnosing problems, replacing parts, and ensuring proper functionality of machinery while maintaining positive customer relationships and adhering to Company safety protocols.
Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities :
Independently diagnose and identify issues with agricultural and construction equipment by examining, listening to machinery, checking gauges, and reviewing inspection reportsPerform repairs by disassembling defective machinery, replacing worn or damaged parts, and reassembling equipment according to specifications, using hand tools, and possibly welding equipment, and other machineryConduct routine maintenance by cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting parts on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure proper functionalityAnalysis of electrical and hydraulic systems for troubleshooting and repairing electrical wiring, sensors, and hydraulic components on modern agricultural machineryTuning and overhauling engines, including adjusting valves, replacing filters, and checking compression to ensure proper engine maintenanceIdentifying necessary parts for repairs and ordering them from the Parts DepartmentKeeping detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and customer informationEffectively communicate equipment issues and resolutions to supervisor and customersClean, organize, and maintain the condition of the shop, inventory, tools, and equipmentMaintain current product knowledge of all equipment / machinery available through the dealership for ease of operation and maintenanceAdhere to, enforce all safety regulations, and wear all safety equipment as requiredParticipate in training as assignedWork effectively and cooperatively with peers and managementOwnership of personal toolsOther duties as assignedRequired Skills & Knowledge :
