Precision Ag Specialist

Crown Recruiting seeks a Precision Ag Specialist to join the team of a family-owned agriculture company in the Ravenwood, MO area. The Precision Ag Specialist will play a crucial role in the continued success of the organization by ensuring that the latest technology is effectively utilized and maintained, offering expert support to customers, and contributing to the overall efficiency and growth of the company.

Precision Ag Specialist Responsibilities:

• Repair & install current & older precision ag equipment, including GPS receivers, navigation units, precision ag sensors & transmitters, guidance systems, & monitors
• Bill & collect payment for any work done & equipment sold
• Educate & assist customers on how to use Precision Ag equipment
• Stay current on all certifications & other educational opportunities
• Participate as assigned with training, technical documentation, & other departments to ensure optimal knowledge transfer
• Coordinate with field teams to research & resolve field issues

Precision Ag Specialist Qualifications:

• Degree in Agronomy, Ag Business, or Ag Mechanization or equivalent experience
• Must have Commercial Applicator’s License
• Previous experience as a Precision Ag Specialist
• Valid driver's license & ability to travel more than 50% of workday
• Working knowledge of Precision Ag systems & concepts
• Possess sufficient knowledge of crop production science to advise producers on precision farming plans, products, & services
• Proficient knowledge of electrical & wireless communication systems
