The Precision Ag Professional plays a key role in ensuring effective promotion and support of all Precision Ag products sold and serviced by Parallel Ag. This professional will assist with driving team first culture through coordinating collaborative customer support activities with the service managers and other supporting departments.

Responsibilities:

• Remain abreast of current competitive Precision Ag offerings
• Stay current with equipment used to perform Precision Ag services
• Responsible for minor installation of precision products on equipment
• Review and recommend growth opportunities with new products to management team
• Recommend and secure professional service support as needed
• Be able to speak to co-workers and customers regarding day-to-day business operations
• Troubleshoot precision products and systems remotely
• Complete understanding of product(s) sold. Understanding the use, functionality, systems building and ordering of Precision Ag Products
• Encourage adoption of new technology and product offerings to staff and customers
• Must have your own tools. The company will furnish specialty tools if needed.
• Develop, recommend, and participate in promotion tactics: brochures, presentations, meetings, events, how much to sell, etc.
• Develop and deliver employee and customer training for Precision Ag products
• Maintain current knowledge on all new/used equipment
• Ability to resolve customer conflicts effectively and efficiently
• Interpret schematics for electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Conduct sales calls and presentations for new customers with and/or without equipment salesman
• Develop sales territory for future growth of precision equipment along with precision upgrades
• Attend industry tradeshows and events to represent products and communicate with customer’s in-person at events
• Coordinate with billing or accounting staff to ensure accurate invoicing of service labor and complete systems. Willing to charge customers for service time.
• Must have the ability to stay motivated without day-to-day guidance
• Required to log-in to Telenotes and report your customer calls made by phone or in person. Minimum call visits per month 60 reported to Telenotes.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Two- or four-year business degree or a minimum of three years of machinery experience
• Computer literate especially with programs such as Microsoft, Excel, and Outlook
• Must be organized and possess strong time management skills
• Reside within 60 miles of the dealership
• Willingness to travel to trade shows and training sessions as required
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be a self-starter and able to adapt to change
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet insurance requirements
