Sales Agronomist Responsibilities:
- Start with an established territory with active accounts. Spend time in the field building strong relationships with growers to grow the business (little to no operational tasks)
- Increase customer base year over year
- Increase sales volume with existing customers in an established territory
- Assist with inventory management, training, & scheduling
- Lead sales presentations, product demonstrations, & offer expert agronomic guidance, including crop planning recommendations
- Provide knowledgeable agronomic advice & tailored solutions to clients
Sales Agronomist Qualifications:
- 2 years' experience in sales within ag industry
- Valid driver's license & willingness to travel within territory
- Strong knowledge of agronomic practices, crop production, & ag technologies
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required & ability to learn/use Ag software
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Crop Science, or related field preferred
