Sales Agronomist Responsibilities:
- Deliver value-added agronomic solutions, schedule product delivery and application, and provide technical information through regular client meetings.
- Apply professional sales techniques and target marketing strategies to develop relationships with both established clients and prospects.
- Conduct competitive analysis to stay updated on market trends and competitors.
- Identify customer needs through sales interviews and offer tailored agronomic products and services.
- Ensure promotional signage is visible on client fields and update account profiles.
- Support operational tasks as needed and assist with collecting payments for sales.
Sales Agronomist Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record, & willingness to travel within territory, including overnight stays when necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, marketing, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant sales or business experience.
- Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) certification preferred.
- Strong skills in collaboration, communication, customer focus, and decision-making.
- Capability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work extended hours as needed.
