Sales Agronomist Responsibilities:
- Manage customer accounts and introduce innovative agronomic solutions to new clients.
- Use remote sensing technology, satellite imagery, and specialized software to create quality zone maps and recommendations for fertilizer, fungicide, and seeding.
- Communicate insights to farmers, explaining yield variability and field stressors.
- Provide agronomic support to enhance customer satisfaction, retention, and success.
Sales Agronomist Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, & willingness to travel within territory.
- Bachelor's degree in agriculture or a related field preferred.
- 2 years of relevant experience in ag sales.
- Knowledge of regional cropping systems, fertilizers, seed types, and farming regulations.
- Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) certification and/or 4R certification preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed.
