Sales Agronomist Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and provide expert agronomic advice and crop planning recommendations.
- Drive sales growth by increasing crop inputs and related product sales to existing customers.
- Offer expert agronomic guidance and stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts to align with company objectives.
Sales Agronomist Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the territory required.
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Crop Science, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in sales within the ag industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of agronomic practices, crop production, and ag technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required and ability to learn/use Ag software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
