Our banquet team is looking for a courteous and attentive server who can provide our guests with a great experience at special events. Our banquet servers are responsible for serving food and beverages to guests, clearing plates and silverware, and ensuring any special guest needs are met. This position requires a team-first approach since you'll be working closely with other servers, banquet captains, and kitchen staff to ensure the event runs smoothly. Compensation:
$18 hourly
Responsibilities:- Walk around the room serving guests appetizers, meals, side dishes, drinks, and other items as requested
- Offer an outstanding guest experience from the beginning to the end of each banquet event
- Clear plates, replace silverware, and be mindful of needs guests have
- Carry coffee pots, water pitchers, and other drinks around the room, refilling guests' cups and glasses as requested
- Verify that you and your team members are following relevant food handling safety requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)
- Experience working in food service is preferred
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills
- This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and other team members
- Must possess a valid TN ABC card or be able to acquire one within the scheduled time frame
