Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custodial services, floor care, and housekeeping management, preferably within the hospitality or industrial cleaning sectors. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and orderliness in all areas.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to uphold company standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules that optimize efficiency while ensuring thoroughness.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance their experience.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain records of cleaning activities, staff performance, and supply usage.
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles within the hospitality industry or similar environments.
- Strong knowledge of custodial practices, floor care techniques, and industrial cleaning methods.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
