**Key Responsibilities:**
- Organize, direct, and manage contract operation support functions to ensure the effective execution of multiple complex projects and tasks.
- Lead and manage teams of contract support personnel across various locations, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Maintain and manage senior-level client relationships, building and nurturing key stakeholder connections within the client organization.
- Meet regularly with both customer and contractor personnel to formulate, review, and refine task plans and deliverables, ensuring all project requirements are clearly defined and understood.
- Monitor project performance and ensure conformance with program task schedules and milestones, making adjustments as necessary to achieve successful outcomes.
- Develop and implement strategies to address challenges and streamline project processes, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Provide regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders, communicating project progress, risks, and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of consulting and/or directly relevant industry experience in project management, preferably within the Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
- Familiarity with the Defense Health Agency and its operations is highly desired.
- Proven ability to organize, manage, and direct complex project tasks and operations effectively.
- Experience managing diverse teams of contract support personnel across multiple locations.
- Strong interpersonal skills to maintain senior-level client relations and foster positive collaboration among teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
