As the Director, you will manage the operations of Pulmonary, including all diagnostic and therapeutic departmental functions. Oversee daily operations for the Division of Pulmonary Medicine. Manages and assesses systems and services to ensure appropriateness and integration and coordination with other areas. Performs duties in support of the Hospital mission to ensure the highest quality of patient care in an economically sound and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:
- Perform Annual Staff Performance Appraisals
- Prepares budget to provide an appropriate level of care and establish financial goals
- Participates in developing and approving policies for the Division of Pulmonary Medicine
- Maintains current knowledge of all applicable licensing, regulatory and accreditation standards and directs operations to ensure compliance
- Incorporates knowledge and judgment of therapeutic indications and contraindications and hazards into critical patient treatment decisions
- Acts as a resource to other staff and departments within the hospitals.
- Participates in Quality of Care Committee, Critical Care Committee and Patient Experience Committees
Requirements:
- Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT or CRRT
- Must be a Licensed Respiratory Therapist in Pa
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- Must have at least 5 years of Hospital-based Critical Care experience as a Respiratory Therapist
