CRS is currently seeking to enhance our sales and purchasing team in our Fort Lauderdale office. As such, we are inviting applicants to join our procurement team. The candidate will be vendor facing, trained in purchasing, selling and exchanging inventory of aircraft parts, and will assist in executing our processes, furthering efficiencies and analytics capabilities for the organization. This role is for a HUNTER, someone who is not afraid to make the calls and interact with vendors as needed to successfully source the best product at a fair price. The ideal candidate for the Sourcing Agent role has a minimum of 1 year documented success in aviation sourcing/ procurement, but previous experience is not a requirement. An understanding of the aftermarket aviation parts industry is a plus.

Job Responsibilities Include:
- Source non-CRS stocked parts available in the market for customers in need of such material
- Reach out to CRS Jet Spares approved vendors for pricing and availability of material that they show in stock on ILS, PartsBase and other sourcing sites
- Review tag and trace information provided by vendor
- Load vendor pricing, tag, and trace details in our enterprise software
- Meet time sensitive requirements by providing three best quotes to internal team members waiting to quote CRS customers
- Placing purchase orders with vendors to fulfill customer needs, CRS stocking needs, and follow all purchasing authority and procedures related to procurement of new and used serviceable material
- Prepare analysis of products purchased for outright sales and/or exchange transactions
- Build vendor relationships to collect and organizes vendor quotes data, parts lists, lists of materials for sale, and compiles data related to aircraft operators, maintenance shops, and brokers
- Provides procurement research, guidance and direction by presenting available procurement options including new part numbers, new aircraft to support and new trade partners
- Maintains a “Hot List” of parts for purchase, in real-time, and manage the daily updates of the list by collaborating with an inter-departmental team that provides inputs from various aspect of the CRS operations
- Process order transactions to achieve directed objectives, goals, within measurable service-standards
- Analyze market data for CRS stock parts to ensure acceptable levels of inventory and pricing is updated
- Support CRS inside stakeholders in meeting monthly sales and purchasing objectives
- Assist sales team in securing material to meet monthly brokered opportunities target
- Collaborate with the repair control team to be informed of technical aspects of a purchase and with the sales team to understand current customer requirements by part number, part category and airframe

Desired Knowledge and Characteristics:
- Strong phone skills, able to make 30 calls a day in order to find best inventory available in the market
- Excels in building vendor relationships
- Acumen for technical aspects of aftermarket aircraft parts and FAA/EASA requirements
- Frequent communication and interaction with the CEO to report on demand trends, purchasing opportunities, pricing analysis, and cost trends
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Demonstrates excellent organizational and follow-up skills
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to manage competing interests
- Must have pleasant and outgoing personality and enjoy working with people of different levels of education and experience
- Must demonstrate initiative by managing and tracking projects, reporting progress and tracking key performance indicators to measure success
- Must work with a sense of urgency
- Must be persistent and thorough
- Organized and goal-oriented self-starter with a highly motivated attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
- Proficient in reviewing part traceability, 8130 tags, Certificate of Conformance and other documentation, and have an ability to assess which parts to purchase across varying conditions, vendors and prices
- Understanding and previous knowledge of Salesforce is a plus, not a requirement.
