Position: Senior Accountant (Hybrid)

Due to our sustained growth in core businesses and various development efforts, we are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for the recording of financial transactions for all U.S. activities, consolidated monthly financial reporting and other tasks as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries for month-end reconciliations, including accounts receivable, prepaids, other assets, fixed assets, and accrued liabilities.
- Maintain accurate financial records, reports, and perform general ledger reconciliations.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Analyze financial statements, offering insights and actionable recommendations to management.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Reconcile and monitor bank accounts, credit card transactions, and intercompany balances.
- Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and performing variance analysis.
- Provide necessary documentation and respond to auditor inquiries to support external audits.
- Manage and monitor the global fixed assets system, ensuring appropriate depreciation and reporting.
- Coordinate tax-related activities, including liaising with CPA firms for tax filings, preparing sales tax files, and providing data for tax provision calculations.
- Work with operations to renew professional licenses and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Support ISO certification processes, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline accounting processes and enhance automation.
- Provide support and guidance to other members of the accounting team and work cross-functionally with various departments to deliver accurate and timely financial information.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages and ad hoc reports as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficient in accounting software such as Sage Intacct and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- CPA certification preferred but not required
