POSITION: GENERAL LABORER – BROOK PARK, OH
SHIFT: 2nd Shift – 2:00pm – 10:30pm
PAY RATE: $19.33/HR 1st Shift training, $19.58/hr 3rd shift.
BASIC JOB DUTIES:
This job requires the following duties, but is not necessarily limited to the following duties:
- Manually lifting 50-70lb bags, boxes or tubs and moving pallets as needed
- Operating a forklift while following all safety regulations
- Following all factory GMPs to ensure compliance to all internal and external standards
POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- This job requires the following duties, but is not necessarily limited to the following duties:
- Operate system 4 blending system to produce batter and bread mixes in compliance with the product specifications and production sheets.
- Keep area clean and organized throughout shift to ensure compliance to all internal and external policies.
- Manage allergens per the allergen management program to ensure no cross contamination occurs and that isolation of allergens are kept.
- Effectively cleanout system 4 as detailed in the allergen cleanout procedures provided and effectively clean the surrounding area to prevent cross contamination.
- Ensure that all materials are properly staged for the next shift so that production transitions smoothly between shifts.
- Includes proper communication to the next shift’s operator to prevent confusion or errors and keep production running.
- Must be able to fill in for the front if needed per management discretion.
This job requires the following cross-trained duties, as needed:
- General cleaning and housekeeping of production areas to ensure safety of employees and safety, legality and quality of product. This includes:
- General sweeping and vacuuming of production areas to remove product buildup on the floors, equipment and surrounding areas.
- Removal of trash, waste and recycle before shift end and as needed throughout shift or when instructed by the supervisor or management.
- Any specific cleaning tasks as requested by the supervisor or management.
- Staging materials as needed throughout the day for the front and system 4.
- This also includes staging all materials for the next shift!
- Relieving other positions during breaks, lunches or in times of need per supervisor or management request. Such areas can include:
- Front operator
- System 4 operator
- Bagger
- Base room
- Warehouse
- Ensuring the wash area is clean, organized and free from buildup throughout shift and before end of shift. This includes:
- Chemical cabinet locked and secured
- Floors cleaned, sinks free from tools and debris
- All tools hung properly
