We are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist to oversee and implement effective HR policies and programs that support our production operations and team members' needs. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of HR functions, including payroll processing, employee management, benefits administration, training, safety compliance, and performance measurement. - Manage payroll operations, including timeclock adjustments and verification of time-off requests.
- Conduct weekly timeclock analyses to ensure accuracy of time-off and corrections.
- Generate reports for hourly employees and input data into the system.
- Reconcile remaining balances for PTO and sick time.
- Prepare schedules for IRA and HSA deposits.
- Analyze pay period trends and record payroll entries.
- Onboarding:Facilitate new hire processes, including I-9 filing and system updates.
- Ensure completion of all necessary paperwork and conduct ISO training.
- Coordinate property and system access, job equipment availability, and benefits enrollment post-waiting period.
- Termination:Initiate replacement procedures and ensure the return of company property.
- Terminate system and property access, conduct exit interviews, and deliver final pay promptly.
- Update HR systems to reflect terminations.
- Address employee questions and concerns effectively.
- Communicate policy changes and coordinate special events.
- Manage annual benefit enrollment and maintain relationships with insurance brokers.
- Oversee ISO training and monitor cybersecurity training compliance.
- Develop and implement training courses on safety, environmental standards, harassment, and managerial skills.
- Collaborate with management to establish performance metrics and goals.
- Assist in communicating expectations to employees and establish a review and feedback calendar.
- Manage workers' compensation, unemployment, COBRA, and other insurance inquiries.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental standards.
- Ability to work onsite in North Phoenix.
- Experience in HR functions within larger, established corporations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated track record of success and impact; self-starter with the ability to independently manage workload.
- Experience in manufacturing is preferred.
