Full Time Traveling Construction Superintendent (Multifamily Tenant Improvement Projects) Job Description
Location: Raleigh, NC to start and ability to travel nationwide.
Compensation: $80,000-130,000 pending experience
The Construction Superintendent is responsible for the overall management and coordination of all construction activities on assigned projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing complex Multi-family and/or Hospitality construction projects, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of construction projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout
- Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors and other construction personnel
- Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Resolve construction problems and issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Maintain accurate and complete project records
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field or proven work experience
- 5 years of experience in the construction industry, as a Superintendent working similar projects
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction software
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to travel as needed to various jobsites nationwide for an extended period of timejob sites
