Crumbl Cookies—the brand made famous by Tik Tok—is hiring for Bakers to become a part of our team at its South Tampa location at 1902-A South Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, Florida to serve the South Tampa and surrounding neighborhoods!

Are you a creative and an amazing cookie lover who strives to provide excellent baked treats and service in an efficient, professional manner? Are you interested in serving up deliciousness to the community of cookie lovers? Then you are what we are looking for to join our Crew!

Bakers will execute and understand recipes, perform quality checks on ingredients and finished products, use frostings, glazes, fillings, and other toppings to enhance item presentation, and process orders from customers. They will greet customers, answer questions, clean workstations and equipment, and perform other duties to ensure that customer needs are satisfied, and the bakery is well-stocked and operating smoothly.

To be a successful Baker, an individual should be efficient and friendly with a focus on food quality and customer satisfaction. They should be organized, decisive, attentive, and possess a strong understanding of baking techniques.

Bakers will also be expected to be able to work on their feet for continuous hours at a time and lift potentially heavy objects when necessary. Prior experience is preferred, but not necessary.

Baker Job Responsibilities:

• Reading and understand recipes.
• Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make cookies.
• Decorating and displaying finished product
• Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls
• Greeting customers, answering questions, making recommendations, accepting orders and payment, and providing exceptional customer service
• Keeping records relating to deliveries, inventory, and production levels
• Taking customer information and ensuring that deliveries are fulfilled accurately and on time
• Cleaning and restocking workstation and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift

REQUIREMENTS

• Enjoys baking and is ready to learn
• Culinary background a plus
• Smile, be polite, and genuinely love serving and helping others
• Cheerful and project a positive and helpful attitude as a team player
• Consistency and reliability
• Strong communication, time and resource management, and planning skills
• Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products
• Operate with urgency and accuracy, with an ability to multitask quickly, yet thoroughly
• Create and maintain eye contact and have have the ability to communicate effectively
• Willingness to work independently or with other team members to solve problems, plan schedules, fulfill orders, and create amazing baked goods
• Flexibility to work around customer demands, including early morning, night, weekend and holiday availability
• Maintain good hygiene consistent with food service standards
• Possess/Obtain a food handler's permit and follow food safety practices
• Be at least 18 years of age to legally operate power-driven bakery machinery
• Have a valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation
• Have the ability to lift and carry 10 to 55 lbs.
• Basic math and computer skills
• Adhere to Crumbl's personal cell- or smartphone policy, handwashing policy, dress code and uniform policy, and other policies outlined in the employee handbook

It all started with one big dream, two crazy cousins, and the perfect combination of flour, sugar, and chocolate chips. After thousands of dollars in wasted dough, recipes that did not live up to their expectations, and cookies that were just plain embarrassing to them today, the cousins decided to try something a little unique, A/B test their way to the perfect cookie. Jason McGowan, coming from the software world, was accustomed to this methodology of testing. He and Sawyer Hemsley would take the exact same cookie, change out one ingredient like chocolate chips and randomly visit local gas stations and grocery stores simply asking one question "Which one of these two cookies is the best?" They continued this testing on ingredients and cooking methods until they came up with what they believe is the world's best chocolate chip cookie.
