Cruser Mitchell is a collegial, mid-sized insurance defense firm, with offices in eight states. Our firm is best known for defending professional liability claims (insurance agents / brokers, attorneys, architects, etc.), employment practices liability and wage / hour disputes, construction defect litigation, premises liability, and auto / trucking liability. We wish to grow our Los Angeles team of attorneys to meet client requests to resolve increasing numbers of claims.
We are looking for an associate litigator with a minimum one (1) year of civil defense litigation experience. Specifically, we want associates that have experience with pre-complaint investigations, case analysis, drafting and responding to discovery, preparing and arguing law and motion, taking and defending depositions, trial preparation, etc., and generally have the skills to develop and implement efficient strategies to resolve claims against our clients. The team members will have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the firm’s practice, including participating in trials, mediations, counseling and advice work on a wide variety of areas.
J.D. required. You must currently be in good standing with the California State Bar.
Our bright, modern new Los Angeles offices in the Financial District welcome you for this in-person position. In addition to other benefits, the salary range for the associate is $125,000 to $150,000.
