Smash My Trash - Memphis is hiring outside sales professionals to capitalize on our disruptive technology and help us continue our strong growth nationwide and in the Tri-State area. Our exclusive commercial mobile waste compaction machines reduce Roll-off/Open-top dumpster hauls by up to 80%. Videos and pictures are more effective than words -- check out www.smashmytrash.com for an example. Our Commercial Sales Executives introduce prospects to our services and provide a solution to the headaches of dealing with waste haulers. You'll target prospects who use Roll-off dumpsters to show them how our machines dramatically reduce their volume (and save them 20% in total costs). You will manage the sales process to close. Our customers are in various industries, including Manufacturing, Distribution, and Construction. Anyone with a Roll-off/Open-top dumpster is an eligible candidate for our services.
Compensation:
This position is full-time, W2, with a base salary of $40,000 plus commission. Estimated first-year annual income is $48,000 to $96,000. We never cap commissions. 401(k) with company match, PTO, and Paid Holidays.
Duties and Responsibilities
- In-person, phone, text, and email prospects using leads generated in Google Maps, website traffic, and social media.
- You are responsible for scheduling appointments, maintaining your CRM records, and following up with prospects to close each sale.
- Local travel is required.
- Your sales meetings will occur at the prospect's site to demonstrate our service.
- Effectively delivering Marketing materials and presentations.
- Represent our companies at appropriate association meetings, conferences, and trade shows.
- We use Hubspot to track leads, customers, and sales efficiency.
Skills and Specifications
- Must have a Hunter Mentality and be able to guide the conversation to find the correct solution for the prospect.
- Effective listening is needed to understand the prospect's needs.
- The ability to Prospect and Cold Call in person and on the phone is a must.
- Gregarious, Outgoing personality with the ability to talk to anyone from the shop floor to the owner/CEO of the business.
- Must be disciplined and able to work remotely and independently.
- Effective time management, organization, and multi-tasking skills.
- Competency in Excel, Word, and CRM is required.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of outside sales experience
- Demonstrated track record of over-achieving quota
