Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Estimator in Canton, GA. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for tasks such as construction estimating, quantity take-offs, cost management, communication, and budgeting on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Utilize software such as Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and other tools to prepare detailed estimates
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the overall cost
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements
- Conduct on-site visits to assess project scope and potential challenges
- Develop comprehensive proposals and bids for construction projects
- Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to secure competitive pricing
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budget constraints
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
