Role Description
This is a fulltime onsite role for a Construction Estimator in Canton GA. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for tasks such as construction estimating quantity takeoffs cost management communication and budgeting on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Utilize software such as Bluebeam Microsoft Excel and other tools to prepare detailed estimates
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the overall cost
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements
- Conduct onsite visits to assess project scope and potential challenges
- Develop comprehensive proposals and bids for construction projects
- Negotiate with suppliers subcontractors and clients to secure competitive pricing
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budget constraints
- Ability to work effectively in a team
