About the Position:
Cruz Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an HVAC/R Division expert, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing explosive and chemical processing equipment.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a qualified individual with a strong background in industrial maintenance and a valid Master or Journeyman's License in HVAC/R. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Repair: Conduct routine maintenance and repair tasks on HVAC/R systems, including inspections, troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance.
- Equipment Installation: Install new HVAC/R equipment, ensuring proper installation and commissioning.
- System Optimization: Analyze and optimize HVAC/R system performance to improve efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and reports on maintenance activities, including equipment condition, repair history, and any other relevant information.
Requirements:
- Licensure and Certification: Master or Journeyman's License in HVAC/R, Ammo-18 certification, and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Skillset: Excellent technical and computer skills, with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs.).
