The basic function of a Casino Shift Manager is to ensure positive guest relations within all departments, assist in enforcing casino policies and procedures, assist with promotions, slot / table drops, sensitive key distribution, and offer assistance to resolve guest and employee concerns. The Casino Shift Manager is the key point of contact regarding all casino matters in lieu of present department managers.
The Casino Shift Manager is responsible for providing professional, quality and efficient customer service to guests through daily interaction on the guest floor. Additionally, the Casino Shift Manager is responsible for assisting management with documenting observations and providing suggestions in all areas to improve the overall business.
Though the Casino Shift Manager’s primary focus is the activity within the guest floor area, the manager may assist with special events & player tracking. The Casino Shift Manager is responsible for notifying surveillance and the Casino Manager of any suspicious activity.

Gaming
Must be registered with the Nevada Gaming Control Board
Must be at least 21 years of age
Experience
Proven team and leadership experience
Understanding of the casino environment and various casino departments
Skill, Knowledge, and Abilities
Knowledge of all table games
Exceptional customer service skills
Able to communicate with the public effectively
Able to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences
Must be available to and willing to work any and all shifts required
Must adhere to all guidelines and policies established in the Employee Handbook
