Art and Wellness Enterprises (AWE) is seeking a skilled, highly motivated, and entrepreneurial individual to join the team as Drone Operator. AWE supports operating non-profits founded by Alice Walton including the Alice L. Walton Foundation, Alice L. Walton School of Medicine, Art Bridges, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, the Momentary, and Heartland Whole Health Institute.
About the Position :
The Drone Operator will assist the General Maintenance team with projects and maintenance related to, but not limited to, the inspections and washing of the windows, doors, roofs, and walls of the facilities on Campus. Although the position requires some scheduling flexibility, its work schedule is primarily 40 hours per week.
What you will do :
- Operate and control drones in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct pre-flight inspections to ensure the drone is in proper working condition.
- Plan and execute drone flights according to project requirements, ensuring the safety of personnel and property.
- Daily maintenance of facility exteriors.
- Daily maintenance of facility windows.
- Maintain and clean drone equipment regularly, ensuring optimal performance.
- Keep accurate records of flight activities, maintenance, and any incidents or accidents that may occur.
- Responds to maintenance needs through the centralized maintenance management system.
- Assist in the planning of projects involving the drone, as well as clean up afterward.
- Assist other Facility Team Members with special projects.
- Other duties as assigned.

Incumbent must meet a flexible work schedule that may include evenings, and weekends and available on-call for emergencies.
