Job Title: Frying Operator

Department: Production
Reports To: Production Manager and Master Chef

Location: EASTWEST FOODS LLC

Job Summary

The Frying Operator is responsible for overseeing and operating frying equipment to ensure the production of high-quality fried products. This position involves monitoring equipment, adhering to safety and quality standards, and maintaining optimal operational efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation:
• Set up, operate, and monitor frying machines according to production schedules.
• Adjust controls to regulate temperature, frying time, and oil levels.
• Quality Control:
• Inspect fried products to ensure they meet quality standards for color, texture, and taste.
• Perform routine sampling and testing as required.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of frying equipment.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions to the maintenance team promptly.
• Documentation:
• Record production data, including quantities, batch numbers, and any deviations.
• Maintain accurate logs of equipment maintenance and cleaning schedules.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with other operators, supervisors, and quality control staff to ensure smooth production flow.
• Communicate effectively to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Experience: Previous experience in a food production or frying process role (preferred).
• Knowledge of frying equipment and food safety standards is an asset.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods in a hot and humid environment.
• Perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.

Work Schedule

• Monday through Saturday day shift hours. start and end times to be determined.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
