Residential Counselor - Children's Program

Pay:

• Base Pay: Starting at $18.50 per hour without experience.
• Shift Differential: Earn up to $3 per hour extra for weekend shifts, $2 per hour extra for evening shifts, and $1 per hour extra for overnight shifts, allowing you to increase your earnings based on your availability.
• Education & Experience Incentives: Earn extra hourly incentives for educational degrees, specific licenses such as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), and/or years of experience.

Example: Base pay of $18.50 per hour (without experience) plus a $3 per hour weekend shift differential means you could earn $21.50 per hour for certain shifts!

WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?

As our full-time, part-time, or per diem Residential Counselor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents. This role includes providing supervision and support, assisting with routines, and fostering a calm environment. You will promptly address emergencies or resident needs with professionalism, maintaining detailed documentation of activities and incidents. Collaboration with our team is vital for seamless care continuity. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in empowering residents to achieve greater independence and control over their lives by assisting with personal care, household tasks, social connections, health, recreation, and community involvement, bridging the gap between current accomplishments and future aspirations. Your dedication will significantly contribute to our residents' journey toward realizing their fullest potential!

DO YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS?

• 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Able to work holidays and weekend shifts as required
• Able to perform activities of daily living
• Able to perform physical interventions as necessary to provide the safest environment for our students
• A mandatory 1 week of training is required with a schedule of Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

1 year of caregiving experience is preferred! A high school degree or equivalent is also a bonus!
