Senior Accounting Analyst

CS Group is looking for a Senior Accounting Analyst to join our team! CS Group is a national beverage manufacturer of premium juice, juice mixers, lemonade and more! **This is an in-office role located in Hazelwood, MO**

Senior Accounting Analyst Responsibilities and Duties:

• Balance sheet account reconciliations

• Knowledge of and experience in cost accounting principles, up to and including:

• Manufacturing process (raw materials > WIP > Finished Goods), inventory counting processes and procedures, item costing, and the effect of all of these on the general ledger/balance sheet/profit and loss.
• Update standard costs, Bill of Materials (BOM's), and ensure accuracy
• Study and collect data to determine the cost of business activities such as raw material purchases and inventory
• Communicate with vendors regarding payables
• Assist with physical inventory count, issuing purchase orders, and reporting costs to leadership
• Receive all raw materials and packaging into inventory
• Process:
  • Inventory adjustments
  • Batch sheets (removing raw materials, turning into finished goods)
  • Finished goods sales
• Analyze and adjust scrap
• Ad hoc analysis projects
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, masters or MBA a plus
• 4 years of experience in manufacturing cost accounting or public accounting (food manufacturing a plus)

Knowledge, Skills Abilities our Senior Accounting Analyst needs:

• Significant hands-on experience using SAP or an integrated ERP system
• Advanced knowledge of Excel (Vlookup, Xlookup, Index Match, etc.)
• Solid understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory, and cost accounting
• Understanding of U.S. GAAP as it applies to a manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Extraordinary interpersonal skills to work in conjunction with other departments
• Must be able to analyze data, draw conclusions, interpret results, and make recommendations
