Responsibilities:
Essential Duties:
- Teach robotics concepts, programming languages, and engineering principles through hands-on projects and collaborative activities.
- Teach students how to design, build, and program robots using various platforms and technologies.
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that meet the curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Develop assessments and monitor student performance through various methods, including competitions, tests, quizzes, projects, and presentations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to align curricula and participate in ongoing professional development initiatives.
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and events to contribute to the overall mission of the institution.
- Maintain a safe and positive environment for all students
- Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and school staff

- Be able to perform first aid/CPR if necessary
- Assist/lift students, as necessary
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification/license in Michigan for secondary education with an endorsement in the subject.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in planning and assessing educational activities.
- Strong knowledge of robotics programming and hardware, including familiarity with relevant software and tools.
- Passion for technology and innovation, with a commitment to fostering an inclusive and encouraging educational environment.
