As the Finance Manager, you will oversee financial reporting, grant administration, and compliance within a research-focused environment. Requirements & Responsibilities for the Finance Manager :
- Education : Bachelor's degree in a job-related field plus five years of relevant experience; OR a combination of education and / or related experience equal to nine years.
- Experience : Any experience in research administration is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Federal regulations for award money , including the ability to interpret agreements and determine allowable expenditures under specific agreements and Federal guidelines.
- Oversee financial expenditures , ensuring compliance with funding regulations and institutional policies
- Strong skills in Ellucian Banner (ERP system), Adobe, and Cognos . Power BI experience is a plus but not required.
- Preferred : CPA or CRA / CFRA / CPRA certifications , or candidates in progress.
