Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Business Solutions, the Associate Vice President, Business Solutions will create and foster strategic relationships with member supply chain organizations and senior executives to ensure optimization of supply chain resources.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
Manage a team of Directors (staff) including hiring, developing coaching and performance management.
Build strategic relationships with key members including formal and informal decision makers.
Collaborate with staff and hospital executives to develop supply chain improvement plans customized to address specific improvement opportunities.
Ensure that staff members understand each member’s strategic and fiscal position, expressed goals and unexpressed needs, current level of satisfaction with value delivered by Client Services and creates a deeper engagement and relationship.
Serve as a player coach while leading staff in the execution of supply chain improvement plans.
Support staff with business partner challenges or opportunities, assist in opportunity assessments, oversee progress with supply chain engagements and are available to leverage executive relationships to overcome barriers.
Quantify and communicate to all key members, progress made against supply chain improvement plans and broader value delivered by Client Services.
Create opportunity for members to learn from each other by organization networking meetings and other knowledge transfer opportunities with primary focus on supply chain management.
Manages deliverables to a balanced scorecard including member satisfaction and validated savings.
Facilitate early adoption of supply chain automation by working with member executives and department managers in concert with staff to identify and evaluate customer needs and to plan for implementation.
Qualifications
Qualification & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
10 years’ health care or related experience (health care consulting) required.
Exceptional team building and leadership skills.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in supply chain, business development and customer relationships required.

Salary $140,000.00 - $149,999.00
