Responsibilities
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Preparation of drawings, specifications, and reports for medium and high voltage distribution power systems, substations, transmission, and distribution systems design.
- Responsible for environmental assessment statement writing and review
- Manage project budgets
- Collaborate with marketing to prepare proposals.
- EIS review on behalf of agency clients in NY and NJ
- CEQR schedule management
- Report preparation and QA/QC
Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in urban planning or engineering, master’s preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of environmental review in NYC, knowledgeable about CEQR, SEQRA and ULURP and the land use planning process in NYC.
- Excellent technical writer and editor in the style used for environmental review reports.
- Firsthand experience working with databases and systems used in city, state, and federal environmental review (ZoLa, ACRIS, CRIS, etc.
- Flair for report layout and formatting; graphics production (report figures) a plus.
- Seeking a motivated individual who has an interest in business development and marketing, while experience in these is a plus.
- Energized when working in a collaborative environment.
- PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Adobe proficient.

Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
