The Position
The Sales Development Team Lead will act as both a player and coach, leading the team in outreach efforts and directly contributing to CSA's growth by building new sales channels. This role will drive lead generation for cost segregation, §179D, and §45L opportunities by developing target personas, messaging, and sequences within Outreach software. A core focus will be on engaging new CPA firms and referral sources within real estate and advisory roles, as well as establishing relationships with large developers to unlock additional partnership opportunities. This individual will also coordinate CPE events for CPA firms and affiliates, creating processes to enhance scheduling, conversions, and follow-up.
What You Will Do:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) focused on outbound lead generation and pipeline development.
- Engage directly in lead generation and outreach to establish new relationships with CPA firms, real estate referral sources, advisors, and large developers.
- Develop and implement personas, messaging, and Outreach sequences to attract high-quality leads for cost segregation, §179D, and §45L opportunities.
- Coordinate CPE (Continuing Professional Education) events for CPA firms and affiliates, optimizing messaging and scheduling processes to drive attendance, engagement, and follow-up.
- Manage sales enablement tools (e.g., ProjectWize) and delegate lead lists and follow-up tasks to the sales development team.
- Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and forecasting, providing weekly and monthly reports on sales development metrics.
- Continuously enhance the sales development process with targeted coaching and real-time feedback.
- Support relationship-building and presentations to key decision-makers in CPA firms, real estate firms, advisory roles, and large development firms.
- Research new lead-generation channels and methods to expand outreach and uncover additional partnership opportunities.
- Ensure team staffing and workload meet growth objectives and sales goals.
What you bring:
- BA/BS degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
- Experience working in Dynamics or similar CRM
- Proficient in Outreach platform
- Dynamic, people-oriented personality able to quickly adjust in a fast-changing environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to provide solutions to problems
- Proficiency with computers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office apps (Excel, Word, SharePoint)
