Job Overview: As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for proactively identifying, prospecting, and securing new business relationships. This role requires a go-getter mentality and a strong ability to convert cold leads into long-term clients. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams, generating new sales opportunities, product partnerships, and acquisition opportunities through direct outreach, networking, and strategic prospecting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new relationships within target markets and verticals.
- Prospect, cold-call, and engage with key decision-makers through phone, email, and social media to generate leads.
- Qualify and nurture leads to understand customer needs and pain points.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients and track progress using CRM tools.
- Conduct sales presentations, product demos, and meetings with prospective clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to craft tailored solutions and proposals for prospects.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Set Annual and Monthly sales goals and consistently meet or exceed targets.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor offerings to position products effectively.
- Report on sales activities, market feedback, and pipeline status to management.
- Keep up to date on industry and technology trends to reveal strategic partnerships with manufacturers, software developers, or other technology companies
- Weigh potential ROI of potential acquisitions, partnerships, etc
Requirements:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, with a focus on new business acquisition.
- Strong track record of exceeding sales targets and closing deals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Self-motivated and driven by results, with the ability to work independently.
- Experience using sales and office software to track and manage sales activities.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to quickly understand customer pain points and offer tailored solutions.
- A solution-oriented mindset with a passion for sales and business development.
- Strong experience in top to top business relationships
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in audiovisual or technology preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of consultative selling techniques and sales methodologies.
- Experience in Healthcare, Hospital, Outpatient Care Facilities a plus
