What We Do
 

We design, develop, deploy, and support real-time systems. We care deeply about system reliability, testability, recoverability, fault tolerance, throughput, and latency. We measure times in microseconds, sometimes even nanoseconds. Our engineers have a strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering. We are analytical thinkers. We are always learning our craft. If it’s broken, we fix it. If it needs refactoring, we refactor it. If it’s hard to test, we make it testable. We like statistics. We love automation. We are pragmatic. We ship code weekly.  We’re looking for like-minded individuals to join us.
                                  
Requirements:

• 5 years of experience with C , with a strong knowledge of C 11 or newer
• 5 years of experience with Linux or UNIX-like operating systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language
• Experience with Hadoop and/or SQL desirable
• Self-directed, self-motivated
• Knowledge of network programming fundamentals preferred

Our pay ranges are determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, role, experience, level, and location. The national new hire base pay range for this job in the United States is $114,750-$141,750. This range represents the minimum and maximum base pay the company expects to offer for new hires working in the position full time. If you live in one of the following areas or if you work in a Cboe office in the following areas, the range may be higher according to the geographic differentials listed below:

 

 

Within the range, individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
