CSCI is on the hunt for a dynamic Senior Network Engineer to join our client's Engineering Support Services program in Pearl Harbor, HI. Responsibilities
- Network Design & Engineering : Provide subject matter expertise in the engineering, design, and maintenance of a corporate, campus-wide CISCO LAN plant featuring Gigabit switching and routing to both internal and external networks.
- Enterprise Network Solutions : Support the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of enterprise network solutions across multiple sites (over 200 locations).
- Technology Refresh Support : Play an active role in the planning, design, and deployment of technology refreshes for the enterprise network.
- Laboratory Assessments : Conduct lab assessments for both classified and unclassified DISN Services, ensuring proper connectivity and interoperability between WAN, IOEE / IOSEE, and DISA's NOCs (Network Operation Centers).
- Interoperability & Connectivity : Ensure the seamless interoperability of WAN, IOEE / IOSEE, and DISN network equipment and services.
- Implementation & Task Management : Plan, track, and document implementation tasks, ensuring the successful deployment of network solutions.
- Configuration & Documentation : Create and maintain configuration artifacts such as network maps, detailed designs, test plans, operations readiness test reports, device configurations, and maintenance procedures.
- Project & Incident Management : Monitor the completion of assigned tasks, projects, work orders, and incidents to ensure timely resolution.
- Specification Development : Develop technical specifications for simple to moderately complex network problems and solutions.
