Position Summary:
Responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and working closely with senior HR management in supporting designated geographic region or client. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and onboarding;
- Maintain and update Team Member records in the HRIS;
- Compliance with Fair Chance Act;
- Process new hires and terminations;
- Respond to all EDD and IRS notices;
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems;
- Coordinate performance appraisal processes and provide support to managers and Team Members;
- Support Team Member development initiatives and programs;
- Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures;
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations;
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations.
- Maintain employee files and HR records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support HR projects and initiatives as needed.
- Ability to anticipate needs of applicants, managers and co-workers
- Ability to multitask, provide direction, and delegate responsibility (follow up)
- Report any liabilities to VP of HR and HR Manger ((harassment, wage and hour compliance, etc.)

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Three years in HR related role; Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and legal requirements.
- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office applications;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion;
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills;
- Good organizational skills required;
- Bilingual (Spanish);
- Must possess a California Driver’s License with a driving record acceptable to Company risk management and its insurance underwriters.
